    Date Night Fundraiser

    Upper School
    Drop off your kids (Pre-K potty-trained to 5th grade) for an evening of fun, movies, and snacks while you enjoy a night out! Babysitting is provided by vetted HCA parents and 10th graders to support their Washington, D.C. Biblical Citizenship Trip.

    Cost: Suggested donation $40 per family (all proceeds support the trip)

    K-12 Picture RETAKE Day

    If your student missed Picture Day or needs a retake, this is your opportunity!

    Elementary students should arrive in their dress uniform and may bring their regular Friday attire in a backpack to change into afterward.

    Upper School students are encouraged to dress to impress for their school photo--look sharp and school-appropriate.

    Help us celebrate our senior athletes in soccer and cross country as we honor their commitment and contributions to HCA athletics! The recognition ceremony will take place during halftime of the varsity soccer game, with timing tentative based on game play. Come show your support and gratitude for our amazing seniors!

    Homecoming Fall Festival

    Don't miss the biggest event of Homecoming Week! Our all-school Fall Festival is a fun-filled evening for the entire HCA community. Bring the whole family to enjoy food, games, and festive activities for all ages. It’s a night to celebrate, connect, and make lasting memories together—we can’t wait to see you there!

    All 9th–12th grade students are invited to the Homecoming Dance, hosted by HCA’s High School Student Council. Dress to impress and enjoy a night of music, dancing, and celebration with friends. It’s the perfect way to cap off a memorable week of Charger spirit!

    PSAT Testing (grades 9-11)

    Upper School
    Students in grades 9–11 will take the PSAT during the school day. This standardized test provides valuable practice for the SAT and helps students track academic progress. For juniors, the PSAT also serves as the qualifying test for the National Merit Scholarship Program. Please ensure your student gets a good night’s sleep and arrives on time.

    12th Grade No School

    Upper School
    No school for Seniors while the 9th-11th graders take the PSAT. We strongly encourage Seniors to use this day to visit colleges.

    Early Dismissal: Grades 9-11

    Upper School
    After students in grades 9–11 take the PSAT, they will be dismissed. 
    Students who would like lunch on Thursday may stay to eat or pick up their hot lunch before leaving.
