We are committed to providing an enriching education with academic excellence, hands-on learning, and a nurturing experience that empowers your student to thrive and fulfill their God-given potential.

K-12 Admissions Process

  • Explore & Inquire

    The first step in considering HCA is to browse the links and articles on our website. When ready, use the Inquire page or contact our Admissions Coordinator at admissions@hcakc.org. She is here to help you identify if HCA is the right fit for your family and to answer any questions.

  • Campus Tour

    Walk through our one or both campuses, meet our faculty, and discover our commitment to intellectual, creative, physical, social, and spiritual growth! Tours typically take 30-45 minutes. Your students are welcome to join!

  • Shadow Experience - Optional

    Join us for a Shadow Day where your child can experience a day in the life of an HCA Student. This allows students to explore our faith-based curriculum, engage with passionate teachers, and connect with peers with similar values. Shadow days are typically scheduled on Tuesdays, so your student can experience what chapel is like at HCA.

  • Prayerfully Consider

    As you explore school options, we encourage you to prayerfully seek God’s guidance. Taking the time to reflect and ask for direction can bring clarity and peace, helping ensure that your decision aligns with your family's values and goals.

  • Submit Application & Forms

    Applications are created and submitted online. A non-refundable fee is required when applying. The application fee is $50 for each student.

  • Parent Interview

    This is a chance for your family to engage in a meaningful discussion with an HCA administrator about our spiritual and educational partnership. Together, we can assess whether our values and goals are in alignment.

  • Admissions Decision

    Admissions selection is based on the application, forms, church reference, interview, current openings, and other factors relevant to each family's situation. Our admission decisions reflect our commitment to Heritage Christian Academy's and our students' best interests. Acceptance offers will include instructions on completing enrollment.

  • Welcome

    Once you sign the enrollment contract, you are officially an HCA Charger! We can't wait for you to arrive on campus and meet your new family.

  • Financial Aid - Optional

    Please note that admissibility decisions are made independently of financial aid considerations. Family economic circumstances do not influence the admissions process.

Preschool Admissions Process

  • Explore/Inquire

    Look at our early childhood education program and tuition on our website. You'll find we are experts at nurturing your child while they prepare for Kindergarten and beyond.

  • Campus Tour

    Meet our Preschool Director, see our facilities, and discover how Heritage Christian Academy is the perfect place for your little one to learn about God and the world.

  • Submit Application & Forms

    The Preschool applications & forms can be found on the APPLY tab. The application fee is $125 per student.

  • Admissions Decision

    For Preschool, admissions decisions are made based on various factors including availability, sibling status, and birthdate. You will be notified by email or phone when a decision has been made.

  • Welcome

    We can't wait to see your student's smiling faces on the carpet, singing and counting. Welcome to the HCA family!

    Tuition & Fees for 2026-27 Published

    In early December, HCA will publish our tuition & fees for the 2026-27 school year.
  • Dec
    16

    Priority Re-Enrollment Begins

    Priority re-enrollment is available to the following groups: returning HCA students, new students with siblings currently enrolled at HCA, and children of current HCA faculty members. Priority re-enrollment opens Dec 16 and closes Jan 31.

    Open Enrollment for New Families Begins

    New applicants may now begin submitting applications. Admissions are reviewed on a rolling basis, with decisions made according to space availability and other pertinent factors.

Wait Pool

Qualified applicants may be informed that they are placed in our wait pool due to capacity limits in certain grades. As openings arise, the Admissions Office will contact families in the wait pool to inform them if their student(s) have been selected for enrollment for the current academic year. Selections from the wait pool will be made considering various factors.

Out-of-Town Applicants

We regularly work with families in the process of relocating and strive to be as flexible and helpful as possible. Please don't hesitate to contact our Admissions Department to arrange any necessary accommodations.
