We are ever mindful of our charge to create a school where Jesus Christ is pre-eminent and where loving, God-fearing educators equip our children to develop their God-given talents to the fullest. Our success in that endeavor is directly related to our ability to work as a community of believers. In Ephesians 4, Paul writes: “I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.” And: “speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into Him who is the Head, that is, Christ. From Him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.”
Heritage Christian Academy grows stronger as our community shares its gifts:
Prayer - We ask for your prayer support throughout each school year. We encourage HCA mothers to participate in “Moms-In-Prayer”, which is part of a national group of mothers whose purpose is to regularly pray for their child’s school.
Time and Talents - Do you have a special talent or area of expertise to share? Join a committee and find a way to utilize your gifts, while building relationships with other HCA parents either through the parent group, Connections. Your skills—whether handyman or field trip driver—will be a blessing to our school community!
